Discover a real “hands-on” day out at Underwater Street, Liverpool’s Discovery Centre for Children.
Located amongst Liverpool’s waterfront attractions, Underwater Street is a unique venue for families of children aged 2-10 years. If you're looking for hi-tech gadgets then Underwater Street is not the place. We're all about good old fashioned hands-on play, stimulating the little-ones' imaginations and providing adults the opportunity to join in or sit back and observe from the centrally located cafe.
Six exciting zones, three craft tables and themed activities such as the spy trail ensure a fun-filled day for all visitors. Highlights include the climbing wall, the real car to paint, the giant bubble area and Imagination Village where children can dress up and go to work in our shops.
Every weekend and school holiday we provide a schedule packed with fun and entertainment. With a new show or workshop every 20 minutes time just flies by and you'll wonder where the day went! Shows include Battle of the Scientists, balloon-powered car workshops and many changing themed activities such as Elf Bootcamp, Easter Bingo and country and western hoe-down.
All activities and events take place around our cafe serving a wide range of tasty meals and snacks.
